Most system builders are familiar with the complexities of choosing the latest and most compatible components when custom building a PC. Power supplies need sufficient wattage to supply any hardware that may be added later.
With the introduction of Windows Vista most new systems will include Core Duo and Dual Core processors. More users will be purchasing PCI Express and AGP8 video cards. I 've generally recommended at least 512Mbs of RAM in custom built systems.
Below is an ASUS mainboard with the latest incorporated technology. Many system builders use ASUS, FoxConn, AsRock, GIGABYTE and Intel boards to build high performance and/or gaming machines. This particular board features dual-channel memory. Also included are two PCI-Express 16x slots for dual graphics cards. You can also take note of the 24 pin connector for the power supply. Be careful to match the pin configuration on the board when choosing a power supply. I recommend at least a 480w unit although 500 and above is better.

Jointly developed by Philips and other major manufacturers, a Blu-ray Disc offers more than ten times the storage capacity of traditional DVDs - up to 50 GB on a dual-layer disc. Blu-ray Discs are also more resistant to scratches, dust and fingerprints than conventional discs. Blu-ray Disc supports Full High Definition resolution (1920 x 1080p) and up to 7.1 channel surround sound.
Dual Media Recording
Dual Media supports fully compatible recordings on + and - discs (DVD+R/+RW and DVD-R/-RW). No matter which of the two media types you choose, you will always create playback compatible recordings with any other DVD player.
