Hey folks! My name is Nathaniel Phillips and this site is sort of a futile effort to be improved upon. I was named after my Dad whose honorable mention is listed upon the Veteran’s Memorial Wall (Vietnam). I have eight brothers and sisters and somehow wound up right in the middle. I think I share a strong and weak quality from each of them when I really think about it. I’ve spent a lot of my free time getting acquainted with computers and operating systems so you’ll see a lot of articles and ads reflecting that information.
Anyway…I hope this site contains a little something for all. By the way that’s me in my office in the upper left caption. My boss likes my service so he sees to it that I’m always using top-shape equipment. I went through an eight or nine year crisis after my Dad passed away in ’70. It’s kind of difficult to explain but I befriended a bunch of hooligans 4 to 10 years my senior and paid scant attention to my education. I joined the workforce at age 15 while attending school. I attained a strong work ethic while attending a farm school where we really worked. I believe that faith and logic are a man’s best assets. I also believe that the true measure of a man lies in how he handles adversity and the foundation of his good fortune or lack thereof lies in how he responds to his parent(s).
I think that people who need circles on the highway to set their following distance should have their licenses revoked. I also believe that those who are the most eager to lead are generally the least qualified. I never lived in fear of poverty and amongst the many stories I could tell you one always sticks out in my mind. One night when my oldest son was about 14 he’d asked me for five dollars. Without thinking I reached into my pocket and handed him my lunch money for the next day. It was all I had to my name until payday. The next morning en route to work I stepped on a five dollar bill and put it into my pocket. I have never been broke since then.
I hope to construct a better and more comprehensive website in the future so you don’t just yawn through the content. Those of you who do view this site would be kind to sign my guestbook. Amongst my latest (weird) quests in life is to learn to spell and pronounce that little region in New Zealand.
